Moving between is a virtual experience of the Kofar-Mata dye pit, a cultural and historical site in Kano Nigeria founded in 1498, where fabrics are dyed using resist indigo tie and dye techniques. In a deeply immersive experience, the artisans and dancers take the audience on a performance tour through the space using sign language instructions and dance. There is a poetry narration about the history of the site and a showcase of fabric dyed with local patterns. The audience can also closely observe the tying and dyeing process from artisans directly at work in the pits.
